With the increasing demand for oil and gas and the development of the petroleum industry, oilfield chemicals and oilfield chemical engineering technology play an increasingly important role in drilling and production engineering. New products and technologies are constantly emerging, and the theoretical research of oilfield chemistry is deepening. In order to enhance the scientific interchange of the achievements in oilfield chemistry, meet the new challenges of oilfield chemical development, and promote scientific thinking on the problems encountered in oilfield chemistry theory and technology, the 4th International Symposium on Oilfield Chemistry will be held on August 23-24, 2023 in Qingdao. The symposium is hosted by the China University of Petroleum (East China), the National Engineering Research Center of Oil & Gas Drilling and Completion Technology, and the China Petroleum Society.

Researchers and engineers in the field of oilfield chemistry are welcome to submit their papers. During the conference, the latest research results in the field of oilfield chemistry will be presented, the new progress made in the field of oilfield chemistry in recent years will be reviewed and prospected, and the new challenges of oilfield chemical engineering technology will be discussed.
